Foundations First (Level 1 Obedience) is designed for owners who want to build good habits from the beginning. Whether you've recently welcomed a puppy or adopted an older dog, this course teaches essential skills like sit, down, stay, recall, leave it, place, loose leash walking, and polite social behavior. Along the way, we'll address common training challenges, improve communication, and practice around real-world distractions. It's the perfect foundation for a confident, well-mannered companion.

Training can change a dog's future, but financial challenges shouldn't stand in the way. Through the generosity of local businesses and individual supporters, our Training Assistance Grants cover the cost of Foundations First for eligible applicants.
