Ashton & Co. K9 Academy is committed to accessible excellence and believes that a good education should be within everyone's reach. The Training Assistance Grant (TAG) is our scholarship program for families who demonstrate need — covering the cost of tuition so that every deserving dog has a seat in our Foundations First classroom.

Applications are held in the strictest confidence. We review each one individually, and we are honored to help where we can.

How It Works

Approved applicants receive a scholarship code that can be applied directly toward enrollment in an eligible training class through our partner training program.

This is not a cash grant.
We do not provide money directly to applicants or reimburse previous training expenses. Scholarships are applied directly toward approved training services.

Who Should Apply?

This program may be a good fit if:

✓ You are committed to keeping your dog in your home

✓ You are willing to attend scheduled training sessions

✓ You are willing to practice training skills between sessions

✓ Your dog is experiencing behavior challenges that professional training may help address

✓ Financial circumstances are creating a barrier to getting help

We especially encourage applications from families who are trying to prevent surrender and need support accessing training resources.

• Selected applicants must be able to attend training sessions consistently.

• Scholarship funds cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
